CHARLOTTETOWN - A man accused of driving his minivan into the lobby of a Charlottetown hospital returns to court tomorrow.

Joseph Andrew Gallant is charged with dangerous driving and endangering human life.

The 64-year-old appeared in court yesterday, where he agreed to remain in custody until his next appearance.

Police say no one was hurt when a Dodge Caravan smashed through three sets of glass doors at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday night.

They say the van drove around three cement pillars before crashing through the doors and coming to a stop in the hospital's main lobby.
